How can we help?

Alarm didn't ring?

Inside uAlarm, Settings → Alarm not working? walks through the same checks with the exact taps. Here is the list on one page.

First, look at the top of your alarm list

Then run the six checks

  1. Ringer volume, not media volume. Alarms ring at the Ringtone and Alerts level. Open Settings → Sounds & Haptics, drag it all the way up, and turn off Change with Buttons so the side buttons can't quietly lower it overnight.
  2. Attention Aware. iPhone lowers alert volume when it sees you looking at it — which is exactly when you are half awake. Settings → Face ID & Passcode → turn off Attention Aware Features.
  3. Notifications, and the Alarm permission on iOS 26. Settings → Apps → uAlarm → Notifications must be on. On iOS 26 and later, uAlarm also needs the Alarms permission; uAlarm's own Settings → Notifications page shows both states and lets you request the alarm permission if it was never asked.
  4. Silent switch, Focus and Sleep Focus. On iOS 26 and later the alarm is a system alarm and rings through the silent switch, Do Not Disturb and Sleep Focus. On older iOS, add uAlarm to your Sleep Focus's allowed apps (Settings → Focus → Sleep → Allowed Apps) and leave the app running in the background overnight: the loud in-app ring works while the app is alive, and the backup notification alerts follow the silent switch.
  5. Keep the app installed. Deleting or offloading uAlarm cancels every scheduled alarm. Settings → App Store → turn off Offload Unused Apps.
  6. A dead phone cannot ring. A phone that was powered off or out of battery at alarm time will not ring, and no alarm app can work around that. Charge it overnight.

Still wrong after all six? Send us a report with your iOS version and roughly when the alarm was set to fire.

Why does "Slide to Stop" open the app?

On iOS 26 and later your alarm rings as a real system alarm on the lock screen. Apple draws that screen, including the stop slider and its wording, and apps cannot change it. What we control is where it leads: sliding silences Apple's alert and opens uAlarm straight into your mission. The alarm is not over until the mission is. After the mission, an optional per-alarm wake-up check rings one more time within a minute — the completion screen announces it, the ring explains itself, and tapping "I'm awake" confirms you stayed up. You can turn it off in that alarm's settings.

A Snooze button appears on that screen only if you turned snooze on for that alarm (snooze is off unless you do; when on, you pick 1–15 minutes). It is Apple's button: it counts down for the snooze length you set, then rings again, and it is not counted against the snooze limit you set in uAlarm — that limit applies to snoozes inside the app.

I closed the app while it was ringing

That doesn't stop it. If you swipe uAlarm away — or the system closes it — while an alarm is ringing or during its mission, the alarm comes right back: on iOS 26 the lock-screen alert (without a Snooze button) re-alerts within about a second, on older iOS the notification alerts take over, and on Android the sound keeps playing and the ring screen reopens on its own. Reopening uAlarm takes you straight back to the ringing alarm — not the alarm list. Only completing the mission stops the alarm.

My alarm played a different sound

If the alarm uses a video wallpaper's own soundtrack, the iOS 26 lock-screen alert plays uAlarm's built-in Aurora tone instead — iOS can only play alert tones that ship inside the app. Your chosen soundtrack takes over the moment the app opens. Tones from the sound library play as chosen on the lock screen.

Billing & subscription

Paid but still on the Free plan?

In uAlarm open Settings → Manage Subscription → Restore Purchases while signed in to the same uAlarm account you bought with. Store purchases belong to your uAlarm account, so they come back on a new phone or after reinstalling once you sign in — on iPhone and Android alike. A purchase made under a different uAlarm account cannot be restored into this one; sign in with the account that bought it.

Manage or cancel

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple or Google, not inside uAlarm:

  1. In uAlarm, open Settings → Manage Subscription → Manage in Settings. On iPhone this opens your Apple subscriptions (also under iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions); on Android it opens Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
  2. Choose uAlarm, then tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancelling keeps Pro active until the end of the period you already paid for. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Plans and prices

There is no free trial and no monthly plan. Your store shows prices in your local currency and prices differ by country, so the amount you see may differ from these US figures. In Uzbekistan, uAlarm is paid through Payme or Click with your payment ID instead.

Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com: sign in with your Apple Account, find the uAlarm purchase, and choose "Request a refund".
